How we make our soap

Our natural soaps are handcrafted in small batches the old fashioned way.  We gently warm pure vegetable oils on an antique wood cook stove before adding "personality" ingredients to each batch.  When the batch is just right, it is poured into soap molds and allowed to sit undisturbed for two to three days.  Once the batch has saponified (turned into soap), blocks of soap weighing approximately 33 pounds are released from their molds, cut into bars, and placed in drying cabinets to cure for three to five weeks.  Each batch is pH tested to ensure mildness before hand packaging.  Bars are individually wrapped and colorfully labeled along with a story of how our soap is made on the back of each bar.
